Used Hearing Aids
The WOLFVILLE & DISTRICT LIONS CLUB is involved in a District Project to collect
USED HEARING AIDS to assist those in need with hearing difficulties. Do you have a
USED HEARING AID you no longer need? If so, please contact a member of the Wolfville
& District Lions Club as Lions recycle Hearing aids.
Eyeglasses
The WOLFVILLE & DISTRICT LIONS CLUB participates in the LIONS RECYCLE
FOR SIGHT PROGRAM. Lions all over the world collect USED EYEGLASSES which are
distributed to those in need in developing nations throughout the world. Help give the gift
of sight. For some person living in a developing country, used eyeglasses will put the world
in focus, maybe for the first time. Don’t throw away someone’s chance for a clearer
tomorrow. RECYCLE your USED EYEGLASSES by contacting any member of your local
Lions Club.
Used Sleep Apnea Equipment Program
The WOLFVILLE & DISTRICT LIONS CLUB along with other Lions Clubs in Nova
Scotia is involved in a USED SLEEP APNEA EQUIPMENT PROGRAM in Association
with the Lung Association of Nova Scotia to collect USED SLEEP APNEA EQUIPMENT
such as Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) and Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure
(BiPAP) machines that individuals no longer need. These machines would be then turned
over to the Lung Association where they would be refurbished and donated to assist
individuals with sleep apnea by providing them free of cost to those who cannot afford
them by the Lung Association of Nova Scotia. Do you have a USED SLEEP APNEA
EQUIPMENT you no longer need and wish to donate? If so, please contact any member of
the Wolfville & District Lions Club.
